LexisNexis® Practice Management has a program to certify
trainers and consultants who have proven setup, training, customization,
and support capabilities with Lexis® Front Office powered by Time Matters® 9.0, Lexis® Back Office powered by Billing Matters® 9.0, Lexis® Front Office powered by Time Matters® 9.0 - Browser Edition, Lexis® Back Office powered by PCLaw 9.0 and HotDocs Software. These professionals are called Certified
Independent Consultants (CICs). CICs must attend certification
classes at a given training facility and pass a written exam.
This program is not a reseller or dealer program, but focuses
on training and support, not sales. CICs are not employees,
agents, representatives, resellers, or contractors for Practice Management. CICs are independent professionals whose
primary focus is the training and support of clients. Many
CICs represent
products that are direct competitors to Practice Management. It may seem unusual for
us to list Consultants that could potentially recommend competing
products,
however,
we believe that the best match of software to a customer is
in
our best
interest as well as yours.
Use of a CIC does not limit your right to deal directly with
Practice Management, including future purchases, upgrades, service
releases, and technical support. After purchasing from us, you may hire and pay your CIC directly
for additional training or specialized customization. While
there may be one or more CICs in your area, no CIC has exclusive
rights in any territory.
CICs can be suspended or removed from the program for any confirmed
report of lack of proficiency or customer dissatisfaction.
